Placement Fees for Permanent Staff:

The fee to the client covers the following Blueplanet Solutions Group activities:
• The search for suitable applicants
• The screening of short-listed candidates
• The reference checking and placement of staff.

The client is invoiced 15% (plus GST) of the successful candidate’s guaranteed first year’s income, on the first day of the candidate’s employment with the client. The fee includes salary, car or car allowance and benefits (i.e. superannuation).

If the candidate leaves the client’s employment within three (3) months of the start date, at no additional charge to the client, Blueplanet Solutions Group will replace the candidate.

This replacement guarantee holds, providing that the description of the role still applies and that there have been no organizational or other changes, that may have influenced the employee’s decision to resign their position, and which was clearly beyond the control of Blueplanet Solutions.

Fees for Contract Personnel:

Blueplanet Solutions charges the client a margin based on the hourly or daily rate paid to the contractor. The margin charged covers the following Blueplanet Solutions’ activities:
• The search for suitable contractors
• The screening of short-listed contractors
• The preparation of Client and Contractor Agreements
• The management and payment of the successful contractor

The client is invoiced fortnightly and the invoice is based on time sheets that have been signed by the client. Blueplanet Solutions Group will arrange for the contractor to be paid for work completed and signed off by the client on time sheets.

Blueplanet Solutions will construct the invoice to the client, which will incorporate the following elements:
• The hourly or daily rate paid to the contractor
• The hourly or daily margin payable to Blueplanet Solutions Group
• The Payroll Tax component
• GST payable on the total of the above elements

Blueplanet Solutions Group will also ensure that the contractor has the necessary insurances in place – Workers’ Compensation Insurance and Professional Indemnity Insurance and will arrange for the contractor to sign a contract in which it is stipulated that there is no employer/employee relationship in place.

Blueplanet Solutions Group terms of trading are seven (7) days net from the date of the invoice. Accounts must be settled in accordance with Blueplanet Solutions Group terms of trade in order to validate the guarantee.
