Engaging Blueplanet
Recruitment Services
From a Client’s Perspective
Our clients like working with Blueplanet because they want to develop a relationship with a recruiter they both know and trust. Many of our clients are comrades in the IT industry who are well known to the partners of Blueplanet, having worked with them over many years.
Blueplanet is a small, boutique organisation with offices in St. Leonards. Its strength is in its partners’ recruitment experience and in the relationships it has forged with other industry partners. Some of these partners, in fact, share offices with Blueplanet and frequently work togther with them on recruitment assignments. It is this cosolidation of industry knowledge and experience which enables Blueplanet to consistently satisfy the exacting requirements of its clients.
It is Blueplanet’s goal to source candidates whose backgrounds and experience most closely match the requirements of the client’s position. In selecting candidates for our client to interview, Blueplanet takes into account the ’fit’ of the candidate to the company’s culture.
From a Candidate’s Perspective
When you become a Blueplanet candidate, you will discover that we work very hard to place you in the ‘right’ position. We do not attempt to ‘put square pegs into round holes’ and if we feel you are unsuited to a particular position, we will not propose you for the role. We will fully explain our reasons for not proposing you for a particular position and will discuss alternative roles with you for which we feel you are more suitably qualified.
We do not change your CV. We may make suggestions as to how it might be improved, but it is your document, your intellectual property, you own it and we have no right to change it. Also, we never send your CV to any client without your prior knowledge and approval.
It is important for you to understand that, until we have had a formal face-to-face interview with you, you are not considered to be a Blueplanet candidate. If you have contacted us in response to a specific position, at our interview, we will provide you with details of the client and the role. We will attempt to provide you with as much information as possible about the role and will suggest that you undertake your due diligence concerning the client.
Should we both decide following this interview, that you are a strong candidate for the position we are recruiting for, we will discuss your background and experience with our client and if requested, forward your CV to the client. We will continue to communicate with you and keep you appraised of the client’s recruitment process. It will be our goal to ensure that our client interviews you and ultimately makes you an offer of employment. Should the client decide not to proceed with your candidacy, we will notify you immediately and provide you with as complete an explanation of the client’s decision as possible.
